*JOB SUMMARY*
We are seeking a proficient, competent, and skilled CNC Machine Programmer to join our team at our facility in Rochester, IN.
As a CNC Machine Programmer, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in CNC Router and CAD/CAM software to program and operate our manufacturing equipment.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our production process and ensure the efficient and accurate execution of projects.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Program and setup CNC Router machines using SigmaNEST and
OMAX software.
* Create and modify CAD/CAM designs to meet production requirements.
* Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
* Collaborate, communicate, and cooperate with the production team to optimize manufacturing processes.
* Ensure quality control by inspecting finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications.
* Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Learn and understand basic setup and operation of CNC machines.
*PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*
* Light physical effort required
* Regularly required to sit or stand, reach, bend and move about the facility
*ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS*
This job operates in a professional office environment.
Will need to go out on the production floor from time to time.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.
*JOB KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE*
* Proficiency in CNC Router operations and programming.
* Experience with CAD/CAM software, such as SigmaNEST and OMAX Layout.
* Basic computer skills, including familiarity with software applications and data entry.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
* Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
* Effective communication and teamwork skills.
* Must be a self-starter and be able to work at times with limited supervision.
