JOB SUMMARY The position of Business Development Representative (BDR), reporting to the Managed Services - VP of Sales, is a cross functional role responsible for new business development and internally supporting product and services sales.
The role is primarily an inside sales position although outside face-to-face sales activity may be required.
Included in their responsibilities are: sales lead research and prospecting; evaluation of business opportunities; coordination of sales support and company efforts with prospects; development of proposals and sales contracts; and managing an administrative sales pipeline.
The BDR will be expected to accurately present the full suite of CSI products and services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Identification and development of new sales opportunities within assigned territory Management of sales cycle and sales pipeline development, specifically the early stages of the CSI process (Development, Discovery, Qualification…) Preparation of detailed pricing (quotes), sales proposals, contracts, and other documents Continuous pipeline management and accountability for the status of all sales prospects within territory using Microsoft Dynamics CRM Continuous objective evaluation of the viability of individual sales prospects; utilizing CSI sales process (qualification, diagnostic / scoping calls, price negotiation) Participation in industry trade events as needed Other duties assigned by the Managed Services VP JOB REQUIREMENTS Education & Certifications: Education or job knowledge equivalent to a college or university undergraduate education.
Experience: The minimum amount of relevant work experience required to successfully perform the job is at least two (2) years.
Minimum of 2 years of business development experience Working knowledge of managed services/regulatory compliance/information security services/enterprise risk management is ideal.
Experience in SaaS sales and financial services sales is preferred.

Believes that work should be fun, challenging, and a rewarding experience Excellent communication and presentation skills Consultative, solution-selling skills with demonstrated ability to penetrate high-profile corporations Aptitude for technology, business process, and analysis tools Ability to focus on personal quotas, activities and strategy while engaging with other team members Required travel as needed RELATIONSHIP BUILDING This position requires regular contact both inside and outside the company at all organizational levels, and involves considerable tact, discretion, persuasion, and negotiation to obtain willing action and consent.
DECISION MAKING The position requires frequent decision-making and the ability to plan and perform unusual or difficult work with general operation methods/procedures.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED General Direction.
Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approach to assignments.
Completed work is reviewed from a long-term perspective for desired results.
