*Account Developer (Experienced) Job Description *
An Account Developer (AD) is a specialized technical analysis that also has purchasing skills focused on obtaining financial value and fitting a project into a well-managed system.
This individual will need to utilize the skill points of detail orientation, strong organization, self-motivation, creative problem solving, purchasing abilities, people skills, and determination for timeliness in driving to completion the details of clients’ project investigation and setup into our Vendor Management System.
Accomplishment in majority is achieved utilizing tools provided such as Master Spreadsheets (MSS), calculation/form templates, as well as IT tools the AD would help further assist development and manage.
Confidence in computer skills with analysis ability is a must.
Comfort with the sciences, IT abilities, and mathematics is a strong benefit.
*Primary Duties*
* Prepare the onboarding of clients for analysis work including:
* Properly organize vendor invoices and contracts and other data/information and prepare client physical and electronic files.
* Deliver Letters of Authorization to existing vendors of clients
* Obtain any missing information from waste haulers or clients, verify service levels, pricing and obtain copies of contracts from vendors.
* Enter data into Excel spreadsheets creating account financial model in our Master Spread Sheet format (Ensure appropriate notes are entered into Master Spreadsheet Creation and Research notes column)
* Compile benchmark files/documentation; properly labeling both physical and electronic files.
* Perform analysis and investigative work for improvement of waste stream targets including:
* Investigate alternative material solution alternatives, equipment handling, service handling, etc.
* Obtain new pricing for services from all identifiable market area vendors where applicable and for any alternative solutions.
* Prepare presentation of recommendations for client of findings
* Implement approved changes and lead execution of details as agreed upon with Project Manager (PM) into the maintenance phase of management by others in the company.
* Ensure copies of fully executed agreements, and any other documents/emails confirming implementation are maintained in the physical and electronic files of record.
* Preparation of first RWP invoices, Billing Process Sheet, Invoice Address List, Mail Processing Check Off Sheet and active participation with PM to transition billing function to Billing Coordinators (BC) forward.
* Preparation of Service Coordination integration into our portal and ticketing systems.
Introduce the project to the Service Coordinators (SC) for their handling of service issues forward.
* Integration of technologies being utilized with each project being developed with our Information Technology (IT) group.
Transition management of IT services to this group for handling.
* Ensure reminders are added to future calendar system prompting SC, BC, IT and/or PM of approaching future scheduled activities (contract expirations, vendor invoicing requests, quarterly reporting scheduled)
* Address and resolve customer billing and service maintenance phase issues and involve PM as necessary until Project is transitioned to the “Maintenance Phase” personnel.
* Communicate with clients and waste haulers via phone or email as necessary.
* Report accurate information to PM to keep them engaged in your activities and being pressed for project progression, as well as for any potential concerns or issues that may develop.
* Meet deadlines and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
* Maintain accurate business practices with focus on details of monetary figures.
We are a small company and at times work load within the company may require assistance outside your primary duties.
Following is a hierarchy of where your assistance should be directed to be applied.
* Assist other ADs with their AD primary duties with goal of workload distribution balance between the ADs.
* Assist with maintenance phase contract renewals as they occur and require technical assistance in handling.
* Assist others in the “Development Phase” of RWP operations such as PMs with their primary duties.
* Assist with others within the company on all general duties for a successful team approach and better learning of the operations you are developing project into their daily management practices.
