What You Will Do
Create complete packages with all necessary documents such as: precision maintenance specifications, job hazard analysis, job plan steps, job work requirements (confined space, clearances, etc.
) so maintenance technicians will have the necessary information to safely and efficiently complete work
Review work requests along with maintenance team to effectively prioritize for planning
Identify job hazards, services, materials, and permit requirements
Review executed jobs for accuracy and to identify gaps or opportunities for improvement to the plan
Evaluate work orders to maximize the maintenance technicians' efficiency by using the correct resources, equipment, work instructions, and parts
Utilize MP2 to provide a forecast of executable work for the maintenance department and in some cases operational work
Provide weekly executable work loads for down and running work
Participate in priority and planning meetings, outage coordination meetings, and schedule review meetings
Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) investigations to help improve equipment reliability
Coordinate contracted maintenance services, including: writing scopes of work, creating purchase requisitions in MP2, oversight, etc.
Maintain accurate equipment lists and Bill of Materials (BOM)
Backlog management to include closing and generation of work orders
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Five (5) or more years of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience supporting industrial or military operations
Experience reading mechanical, structural, and electrical drawings
Experience working in a manufacturing plant environment, including extended periods of time in noisy, non-air conditioned or unheated areas
Available to participate in the on-call rotation for maintenance
What Will Put You Ahead
Associate's degree or higher in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Machine Design
Gypsum manufacturing experience
Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional
Experience with Maximo, MP2, or SAP (MP2 highly desired)
Experience with machining, design and fabrication
Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drive systems, and repair methods and tools used in an industrial maintenance environment
Electrical maintenance experience, including knowledge of PLCs, A/C & D/C motors, and drive controls
