Duties
We are hiring Teachers, Assistant Teachers, and Flex Teachers who will:
Write lesson plans based on High Scope Curriculum
Plan age-appropriate activities to creatively engage children
Communicate professionally with parents through informal discussions, daily review, parent/teacher conferences
Lead by example, encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching
Requirements
We are looking for energetic, dependable, passionate individuals who are at least 21 years old and have:
Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans from a curriculum, a plus
CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education or related field, is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent
The ability to meet state requirements for education
Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children
Strong Christian character which includes regular disciplines such as Bible reading, prayer and participates in church life
Attend staff meetings and complete a minimum of 20 hours of professional development per year
