Director Materials Management - Northwest Health Porter

The Director of Materials Management is responsible for leading and strategically managing the day-to-day Purchasing and Storeroom functions for Porter.
Maintains a cost effective and efficient Materials system to assure that all necessary supplies and materials are available at the hospital and its affiliate sites.
Responsible for managing the negotiation, acquisition, storage and distribution of supplies and materials through the system.
Verifies that established policies and procedures are followed in the ordering of supplies, equipment, replenishment of supplies, delivery and pick up of supplies, equipment and other materials.
Maintains the department's expertise with materials management software and acts as liaison to other departments for software.
Education: Master's degree in Business or Similar field from accredited college or university.
Certifications/Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in supervisory position.
