Performs phlebotomy and specimen collection procedures
Breath alcohol and urine drug screen testing and education
Scheduling, and assessing various shift and site staffing needs
Interview and selection of new employees, training and competency assessment
Assists in validation of new processes that impact phlebotomy staff
Performs quality tasks to ensure departmental quality and safety goals are maintained, supervision of staff.
Qualifications
Required: Graduate of an accredited high school or GED program, previous phlebotomy experience, completion of a phlebotomy training program with certification or eligibility.
Preferred: previous phlebotomy supervision experience.
