As a Maintenance Manager, this position, manages, coordinates, and monitors the maintenance, repair and administrative activities of electrical, plumbing, painting, general maintenance, heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) functions.
This position provides a wide range of support to the facilities teams, by conducting payroll, dispatches maintenance associates to perform assigned duties, coordinating with vendors.
This position ensures compliance with the requirements of the appropriate regulatory and accreditation agencies.
Knowledge of reading wiring diagrams, blueprints and life safety drawings are a must.
These duties may include not limited to, general maintenance work, education and other duties assigned.
Individual must have good computer skills with good communication skills and a strong work ethic.
Must maintain and use, all appropriate safety equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, face shield.
This position reports to the Director of Facilities.
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalency Required
Experience:
Associates Degree in an accredited college or trade school preferred
Ten years’ experience in healthcare setting, with a minimum 3 years leadership experience preferred
Must be able to organize, prioritize, and schedule Technician duties
Demonstrates extensive knowledge of mechanical aptitude, mechanical concepts, and building construction basics preferred
Has a successful record of adding value to organizations through the proactive analysis and resolution of potential barriers that may negatively affect the organization
Demonstrates a record of significantly improving patient experience
Possesses superior communication skills, demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment, and be able to effectively direct front and back-end work processes and personnel toward a common goal
