Vale Park Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced Veterinary Practice Manager to join our growing hospital.
Over the past three years, we have experienced significant successes in our practice, such as changing locations to double our physical space, adding new veterinarians to our team, and offering new services like day care, boarding, training, and grooming.
This growth has required a larger team, which presents it’s own unique challenges that a Practice Manager would help us to stabilize.
Our hospital prides itself on superior customer service, providing exceptional medical care, and a team mentality throughout our departments.
A candidate should take pride in these areas as well, as they are the cornerstones of our practice.
As for other ideal traits, our search would be seeking someone who has a strong interest in HR.
Being SHRM certified would be a benefit, but not a requirement for the position.
Experience in leadership at a larger work environment would be preferred, as well as tenured experience in the Veterinary field.
Our hospital is a member of Veterinary Management Groups (VMG) and is striving to develop as a business.
With that in mind, a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) would be an attractive candidate for our team.

Our practice is involved in giving back to the community by supporting local animal rescues, participating in the United Way, and sponsoring numerous offerings within the Valparaiso Park Department (Youth camps, teaching courses, etc.
