Residential/Group Home Manager Adult Services Silver Lake, IN, USA The Group Home Manager oversees a residential group home for persons with developmental disabilities providing day-to-day support and supervision to all Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) working in the home.
Essential Functions: 1.
Supervise DSPs providing initial and ongoing training, performance evaluations, and scheduling open hours.
2.
Ensure accurate accounting of monies of individuals served.
3.
Ensure each individual's program plan is carried out and properly documented.
4.
Monitor the health and safety of each individual living in the home ensuring doctor's appointments are completed and proper administration of medications.
5.
Maintain a positive working relationship with families, guardians and support staff of individuals served.
6.
Comply with state and federal regulations and Cardinal Services' policies and procedures.
7.
Provide a supportive and fun environment for individuals served and employees while ensuring excellent quality of services.
8.
Desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
Qualifications: Previous management experience and experience with persons with developmental disabilities preferred.
Job requirements include a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and the ability to transport individuals in services safely.
Must have a High school diploma or GED.
Candidates must have the ability to work in a Human Service setting with favorable background screens.
