We’re growing and hiring a full-time, year-round, Farm Manager to our team for our Medaryville, Indiana location.
You will be managing the success of our that location where you will be in a hands-on role leading the field teams during planting, growing and harvesting.
You will also be responsible for running irrigation and ensuring appropriate water and fertigation.
During the off-season you will be preparing for the upcoming season.
We share labor between farms in the south.
You will be leading a small team of H2A employees during the growing season and will be leading larger teams during plant and harvest.

This position does have peak hours during plant and harvest including long hours and weekends but sticks to a 40-45 hour work week during the winter months.
This position is for you if you: Hold an Associate's or bachelor’s degree in a relatable field such as agronomy, ag technology, agriculture, mechanical engineering, diesel tech, crop and soil science, etc.
Are looking to manage your own location and you bring crop growing experience You have basic mechanical ability Enjoy thinking out-of-the-box and bringing new ideas to the table Key Responsibilities: Lead individuals and teams in the operational planting, growing, and harvesting of a variety of crops Coordinate with the agronomy team on plant health and agronomic plan for the season Coordinate with local ag retail locations on spray program Ensure equipment is maintained and works on shared equipment and personnel coordination with other locations Collect and assess operational data to assist leadership in improving organizational efficiency Coach team members in order to assist them in accomplishing organizational, professional, and personal goals Manage seasonal employees and assist with hiring and performance management Complete Weekly Time Report
