WHAT WILL YOU DO
This individual is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Clinical Laboratories at a site that has more than 80 FTEs and/or off-site billable business and/or multiple campuses.
The oversight will recognize the differences of the large site(s) with the offsite billable business with a strong emphasis on standardizing the operations at both sites.
The duties will include but will not be limited to strategic planning, hospital and laboratory budgets, patient and employee satisfaction, regulatory inspections of the hospital/laboratory and quality initiatives of the laboratory.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Associate or bachelor's degree in a lab science and graduate of an accredited medical lab technician or medical technologist program required.
Meets the alternative education and experience set forth by the ASCP to become registry eligible for the MLT or MT category.
Master's degree in health or business administration preferred.
Training and relevant experience in high complexity testing of Immunology, Chemistry, Hematology and Microbiology required.
Eight (8) years relevant experience including at least three (3) years of supervisory/management experience of multiple laboratory sections required.
