Aid customers in locating merchandise in-store, on acehardware.
com, as well as, processing special orders
Maintain their assigned Zone and complete the Zone Checklist weekly on Trello
Rotate Zones according to the Zone Schedule
Execute the day-to-day goals and priorities assigned by Store Management via Trello
Participate in the processing of new shipments and help the team to keep the receiving and back stock area clean and organized
Always be working on your own development with guidance from your Management team
Assist in the training and development of peers
Actively participate in daily huddle meetings
Uphold merchandising and store cleanliness standards
Guarantee all customers can process through the register in a timely and convenient manner
Be aware and conscious of any shoplifting activity
Actively participate in the Ace Rewards program and share the benefits with our customers
Be proficient in all store technologies (Trello, Eagle, Acenet, POS, Stihl Touchscreen, Vision Box, etc.
)
Lead by example and always have a positive attitude
Be conscious of the daily needs of our company and maintain a willingness to adjust accordingly
Responsive to safety issues - identify them and inform the management team immediately

Be a Keeper of the Culture
High School or GED equivalent
Valid Driver's License
Formal retail experience preferred but not required
Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Key Duties
Assist in receiving, stocking, and pricing of all merchandise and help maintain a clean and orderly merchandise presentation.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Weber, Big Green Egg, and Traeger products.
Assemble grills and help with customer deliveries.
Assist with grilling events and stay up to date on promotions.
Think outside of the box for cookouts, cook-offs, and fun!
Assist with other store services such as cutting/programming keys, custom engravings, etc.
Skills/Knowledge:
Strong leadership and analytical Skills
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of retail computer systems
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business

Ability to maintain a professional attitude and appearance
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods
Move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting and performing all functions as set forth
