Medicaid Legal Assistant

Full-time position available for a Medicaid Legal Assistant with experience in administration, at Northwest Indiana's most prominent full-service law firm.
Must have excellent communication (Spanish a plus) and organizational skills- this type of legal work requires high attention to detail with very short deadlines.
Qualified candidates will possess strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
Your responsibilities would/could include: * Returning client phone calls and emails * Scheduling Appointments * Document Requests * Processing Medicaid Notices and Mailings * Preparing informal letters to clients * Maintaining and Organizing Client files and File Logs * Working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines Schedule: * 7 ½ hour shift (preference for 8:00 a.
