Afterschool Instructor

The wage scale for this position is $13-16/hour.
Primary Function: Implement, supervise and continually assess activities.
Align lesson objectives to program standards.
Create positive opportunities for members and families, and display enthusiasm for the learning process and after-school programming.
Support the mission of the Starke County Youth Club.
Requirements * High School diploma or equivalency certificate.
* Knowledge of methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups.
* Knowledge of youth development and developmentally appropriate practice.
* Experience working with children.
* Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior problems.
* Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
* Highly developed organizational skills.
* Reliable transportation.
* Federal, state and local employment requirements.
Job Type: Part-time Pay: $13.
