JOB SUMMARY
Accountant IIIs are responsible for maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, assisting with close processes, and maintaining proper documentation.
They are also responsible for providing guidance and training to entry level staff accountants within the team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the accuracy of large sections of the general ledger.
Calculates monthly and quarterly sales commissions.
Works with internal and external auditors as needed.
Interprets accounting standards and finds ways to improve processes.
Participates in the vendor demos and selection process.
Leads ongoing process improvement initiatives; proactively makes recommendations.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Accurate and timely financial reporting.
Accountable for completing tasks on time and correctly.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education & Certifications:
Education or job knowledge equivalent to college or university undergraduate education.
Experience:
Advanced level position.
Over six (6) years of successful, extensive work experience in relevant field.
Technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Workday ERP experience preferred.
Financial reporting experience.
Ability to identify financial issues and develop effective solutions.
Critical thinking skills to analyze complex problems.
