The Wealth Management intern will provide support to Wealth Management Team as they develop new wealth management business in which the bank is acting as trustee, executor, administrator, conservator, guardian, depositor or agent.
This summer internship is in-person at our Michigan City Corporate office for up to 20 hours per week.
Duties
Assist with logistics for client events.
Review and evaluate operational efficiencies, making recommendations for improvements.
Perform all work in compliance with established regulations, policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and instructions
Complete required training associated with job function.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree and be a major in finance, business management, business administration, accounting, communication, journalism, sales, marketing, IT, or a related field.
Must be a sophomore, junior or senior at the start of the internship.

Represent the Bank to both internal and external customers in a courteous, professional manner in face-to-face, written and telephone communications.
Accountable for adherence to compliance standards including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), quality of documentation, timeliness and the ability to exercise prudent judgment for solutions from unexpected situations that arise.
Actively protect confidentiality of customer and account information.
